Steve Irwin
The Crocodile Hunter

R.I.P. "Steve-o"
Crikey! we miss you so much, mate...
Feb. 22, 1962 - Sept. 4, 2006

"I was shocked and saddened upon finding out about the passing of The Crocodile Hunter (Steve Irwin). I thought he was invincible. I believed he'd somehow be protected since he was doing SO much to educate the world about animals and our environment. I felt his "mission" here had not yet been accomplished. His energy, zest for life, and overall enthusiuasm were something I was continually amazed at. I imagine he truly "hit the ground running" every day, and he certainly lived every single moment to the fullest! I guess God was just ready for him. And no matter how much you pray for someone's safety and well-being, it is all up to Him in the end. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Steve loved life. He died doing what he loved. He wanted the 'ordinary' person to get involved in wildlife conservation. If his death is what it took to get more people to "wake up" and become Wildlife Warriors, then Steve would say, "So be it! Crocs Rule!".
God bless you and may you rest in peace, Steve. You will be dearly missed."

To Change This World
Written by Mark McDuff
(for The Croc Hunter)

To change this world, you need the heart of a lion.
To change this world, you need the faith of a child.
Don’t you know you need to touch a billion people,
To get your message heard and change this world.
To be a hero, you’ve gotta tangle with danger...
Holding onto nature and never letting go.
Don’t you know you need to stand and shout out loud
To make your message heard - to change the world.
And all at once, voices from the wilderness
Will be calling out your name.
Now we’re apart, those voices fill my heart.
To change this world... Crikey! what an adventure!
To change this world and make a better place,
Don’t you know we need to touch a billion people
And make your message heard to change this world.
You changed my world.

Thanks for visiting!
Crocs Rule!

"I've lost my prince..."
Terri Irwin
(interview w/ Barbara Walters)

"If you can reach out and touch and love and be with wildlife,
you will forever be changed and you will want to make the world
a better place. If we do nothing, we're in trouble. Steve did
more than anybody. So I think we can all do something."
Terri Irwin - September 2006
